Benghazi – Monday The First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mr. Fawzi Al-Nuwairi, accompanied by the Second Deputy Speaker, Mr. Misbah Douma, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Libyan Government, Dr. Abdulhadi Al-Hweij, during a meeting held today, Monday, at the headquarters of the House of Representatives in the city of Benghazi. The meeting discussed the draft amendment to Law No. (02) of 2001 concerning the regulation of diplomatic and consular work, with the aim of enhancing the performance of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and diplomatic and consular missions. The proposed amendment seeks to ensure balance and fairness in the distribution of institutions and to bring services closer to citizens, within the framework of implementing the policy of proximity and equal opportunities for all employees across the various Libyan cities.
