On Thursday morning, 18 December 2025, the sixteenth meeting of the Scientific Committee of the Diplomatic Studies Institute was held, attended by His Excellency the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Dr. Abdul Hadi Al-Huwaij, along with the Institute’s management and members of the Scientific Committee. The meeting addressed a number of issues related to the Institute’s workflow. The final results of the second batch were officially approved, in addition to reviewing and discussing the Institute’s annual report for 2025, which outlined its activities and training programs. The participants also discussed the preparations and arrangements for the graduation ceremony of the second batch, as well as the presentation of the proposed training plan for 2026. The plan emphasized the importance of expanding areas of cooperation and partnership with regional and international diplomatic and academic institutions, in order to enhance training programs and improve the competencies of diplomatic attachés. This meeting comes within the framework of His Excellency the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation’s commitment to supporting the Diplomatic Studies Institute, strengthening its pivotal role in preparing and qualifying national diplomatic cadres, and ensuring the implementation of its programs in line with a strategic vision that responds to the requirements of the coming phase.
