In implementation of the directives and instructions of His Excellency the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Libyan Government, Dr. Abdulhadi Al-Huwaij, and in line with his continued commitment to monitoring the conditions of community and foreign schools, as well as supporting the educational process for our brothers from the sisterly Republic of Sudan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation implemented a humanitarian initiative to support Sudanese community schools in the city of Jalu. The initiative included the provision and distribution of classroom supplies, school materials, fully equipped schoolbags for students, in addition to office furniture. This was carried out in cooperation with the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC), with the aim of improving the educational environment and enabling students to continue their studies under appropriate conditions. The follow-up and implementation of this initiative were supervised by Mr. Abdulsttar Ramadan Al-Mubarki, an employee of the Ministry’s Arab Affairs Department, and Mr. Abdeljalil Ahmed Mustafa, a member of the National Committee concerned with Community and Foreign Schools. This initiative falls within the framework of the ongoing efforts of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation to support the educational process for the children of resident communities in Libya and to strengthen cooperation with international partners in implementing humanitarian and development-oriented programs.
