Benghazi – Monday, 15 December 2025 Within the framework of the outcomes of the meeting held on 10 December 2025, which brought together Directors of International Cooperation Departments and Offices, along with representatives of international governmental organizations, an expanded technical meeting was convened this morning at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, under the supervision of the Director of the International Cooperation Department, Mr. Awad Amhimeed. The meeting was attended by a number of directors and specialists from International Cooperation Departments and Offices, as part of ongoing efforts to prepare a unified national matrix defining the key priorities and actual needs to be incorporated into the work plans of international organizations for the year 2026. The meeting aimed to ensure the alignment of international organizations’ programs and plans with urgent national priorities, thereby helping to avoid duplication in implementation, enhance the effectiveness of coordination between national entities and international partners, and establish clear mechanisms for monitoring implementation, assessing performance quality, and overseeing programs and projects. This approach reflects the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation’s commitment to strengthening institutional work and enhancing integration between national entities and international organizations, in a manner that serves Libya’s development objectives and promotes the sustainability of impact.
