During the handover process, a total of 1,090 documents were documented and received, including passports and registration cards belonging to members of the Sudanese community. This step enables the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to follow up on their situations and complete the related consular procedures in accordance with its humanitarian and diplomatic competencies. The handover ceremony was attended by the Consul General of the Republic of Sudan in Benghazi, Mr. Abdulrahman Rahmatallah, who praised the role of the Libyan Ministry of Foreign Affairs in coordinating efforts and facilitating services provided to the Sudanese community. He emphasized the importance of this step in strengthening bilateral cooperation between the two countries and alleviating the suffering of Sudanese citizens residing in Libya.
