His Excellency Dr. Abdelhadi Al-Hweij, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, chaired the thirty-fourth weekly meeting of the political departments, held at the Ministry’s headquarters in Benghazi. The meeting reviewed the follow-up on the measures taken during last week’s session, approved the minutes of the previous meeting, and assessed the level of progress in implementing the tasks assigned to the relevant departments. It also discussed the ongoing process of preparing employee training records and their specializations within the Ministry, including the consular affairs offices across various Libyan cities. The meeting further addressed procedures related to the Social Solidarity Fund, reviewed the number of contributors and support programs carried out, and discussed several memoranda related to the work of the political departments. In addition, it examined the outcomes of the Minister’s recent visit to the city of Tangier in the Kingdom of Morocco. These meetings form part of an institutional mechanism aimed at strengthening internal coordination among specialized departments, unifying visions and approaches regarding political and technical issues, enhancing the role of Libyan diplomacy, and supporting Libya’s presence at the regional and international levels.
