A bilateral meeting was held today between the Libyan Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Dr. Abdulhadi Al-Huwaij, and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Ghana, H.E. James Gyakye Quayson. During the meeting, the two sides discussed prospects for developing bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to enhance joint cooperation in areas of mutual interest, in addition to reviewing regional developments and a number of issues of common concern on the African and international arenas. Both parties affirmed their keenness to continue consultations and deepen coordination between the two countries in a way that serves their mutual interests and contributes to strengthening stability and supporting development pathways in the African continent. The meeting was attended by the Ambassador of Ghana to the Kingdom of Morocco, H.E. Mrs. Charity Djabidau.
