Benghazi – November 6, 2025 His Excellency Dr. Abdulhadi Al-Huwaij, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Libyan Government, received today, Thursday, the Vice President of the National Council for Liberties and Human Rights at the Ministry’s headquarters in Benghazi. The meeting discussed a number of topics of mutual interest, particularly cooperation in the field of human rights and support for national initiatives aimed at promoting public freedoms. The two sides also emphasized the importance of coordinating efforts among relevant national institutions, especially in the preparation of human rights-related reports, in a way that contributes to enhancing institutional performance and ensuring compliance with national and international standards.
