Benghazi – Thursday, April 9, 2026 In implementation of the directives of H.E. the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Dr. Abdulhadi Al-Hwaij, the fifth meeting of the Ministry’s technical departments and offices for the year 2026 was held, chaired by Ambassador Mohammed Amer Al-Zaidi, with the attendance of department directors and heads of technical offices. The meeting commenced with the approval of the minutes of the previous session, followed by discussions on the timeline for the second quarter of the current year. The participants reviewed the level of progress achieved during the past period, in addition to examining new proposals and visions submitted by the departments, ensuring their alignment with the Ministry’s priorities and strategic directions. The meeting also addressed the workflow within the departments and technical offices, with a focus on enhancing institutional performance and strengthening technical and administrative coordination, in a manner that increases efficiency and improves the quality of outputs. Participants emphasized the importance of role integration and teamwork, in support of the Ministry’s political and technical functions, and in a way that contributes to strengthening Libya’s presence at both the regional and international levels.
