Head of the Community Schools Committee in Al-Marj Inspects the Sudanese-Libyan Brothers School and Reviews Key Challenges

Al-Marj – Wednesday, March 11, 2026 Mr. Issam Al-Asbali, Head of the Committee for Community and Foreign Schools in the city of Al-Marj, conducted a field visit to the Sudanese-Libyan Brothers School in Al-Marj. This visit comes as part of ongoing efforts to monitor the conditions of community schools and to assess the progress of the educational process within them. The visit began with a meeting held with the school’s principal, Ms. Shadia Ahmed Lazim, the deputy principal, Mr. Mozamil Younes Mozamil, and the social researcher, Ms. Hadeel Adam Omar. During the meeting, discussions focused on reviewing the current state of the educational institution, as well as highlighting the key challenges and difficulties facing the school and its academic and administrative staff. During the meeting, the principal stated that the school has a total enrollment of five hundred and thirty-eight (538) students across various educational levels. The teaching staff consists of twenty-three (23) teachers, who are working to ensure the continuity of the educational process and to provide a suitable learning environment for students. Following the meeting, Mr. Issam Al-Asbali conducted a field tour of the school’s facilities, which included several classrooms. He met with a number of students and listened to their observations regarding the main challenges they face in their academic journey. He emphasized the committee’s commitment to addressing these issues and working to resolve them in coordination with the relevant authorities, particularly the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Libyan Government, as well as other entities concerned with the education sector. This visit falls within the framework of the efforts undertaken by the Committee for Community and Foreign Schools in Al-Marj to monitor the conditions of educational institutions affiliated with various communities and to overcome the challenges they face, thereby supporting the continuity of the educational process and contributing to the provision of a suitable educational environment for students.
