His Excellency the Prime Minister, Dr. Osama Hammad, arrived in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan on an official visit, accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Dr. Abdelhadi Al-Huweij, the Minister of State for Communication Affairs, Mr. Khaled Al-Saadawi, and the Advisor and Director of the Prime Minister’s Office of the Libyan Government, Eng. Saleh Al-Menfi. His Excellency was received at the forefront by the Pakistani Minister of State for Finance and Railways, Mr. Bilal Azhar Kayani, along with a number of senior civilian officials and leaders of the Pakistani Armed Forces. An official reception ceremony was held, reflecting the depth of the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries. This visit comes within the framework of strengthening Libyan–Pakistani relations and following up on and activating previously signed agreements in several vital fields, in a manner that serves the mutual interests of both countries. The visit aims to expand horizons of economic and investment cooperation, exchange expertise, and sign memoranda of understanding that contribute to enhancing practical partnership. It also seeks to coordinate positions on issues of mutual concern and to develop consular and diplomatic work, thereby strengthening the presence of both countries at the regional and international levels and opening prospects for a sustainable strategic partnership between the State of Libya and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
