Benghazi – Monday | January 5, 2026 Pursuant to the provisions of the State Financial Law, which stipulate the necessity of conducting an inventory of fixed and movable assets within ministries, institutions, and public bodies, and in reference to the decision of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Dr. Abdulhadi Al-Hweij, No. (196) of 2025, concerning the formation of the Assets Inventory Committee and the renewal of its mandate, a meeting of the Inventory Committee was held at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. The meeting was chaired by the Director of the Administrative and Financial Affairs Department and Head of the Inventory Committee. The meeting addressed a review of the inventory contents of the Ministry’s General Office and the Consular Affairs Offices, in addition to other entities affiliated with the Ministry, in preparation for their review, approval, and referral to the competent authorities, in accordance with the applicable legal procedures, and in a manner that ensures the strengthening of the principles of transparency and sound management of public funds.
